Why Online Giving?

One way we try to make things easier for our members, their families, and visitors is by providing the option to give tithe and offerings online. Give tithes and offerings online in the convenience of your own home while you do your “online banking” or from wherever you are – on a business trip/vacation or if you cannot attend church due to injury or illness.

All you have to do is open an account with AdventistGiving.org by linking in and designating Living Hope SDA Church, 504 – 29th Street West, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as your chosen church site. You then choose a bank account from which you would like the funds taken or use your Debit, MasterCard or Visa card.

Once the account has been created, you have all the options of giving towards Tithe, Local Church Budget, Missions & many other categories as found on an offering envelope in the church pew.

Receipts for Income Tax purposes are issued at the end of each calendar year, just as if donations were made in person at our church building.

Offering Categories

Tithe (https://www.adventist.org/stewardship/)

The tithe is 10% of your income or increase, which the Bible (Leviticus 27:30) states belongs to God. This money is considered God’s share & is set apart to help support the ministers/pastors and ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist work locally and throughout the world. These funds are all transferred to the Manitoba-Saskatchewan-Nunavut Conference Head Office, and portions are sent to the global church.

Missions (or World Budget)

These offerings fund outreach ministries that benefit the entire world church family, such as missionary work and international outreach.
